Kasey Flavin
One of the people I’ve chosen to possibly write a profile about is Kasey Flavin. She is currently a sophomore defender on the Adelphi Women’s lacrosse team. She was a part of the girls amazing 2019 run where they became division 2 national champions. Kasey joined the team late as she was a transfer from Marist which is a division 1 school. She plays alongside her sister Kerry who is one of the four captains at Adelphi. Before Adelphi she attended and played lacrosse at Oceanside high school where she was an all-county player for lacrosse, as well as all-conference in basketball. The two people who I would go talk to about her would be her best friend, teammate, and roommate Kristina Schweitzer, and her other current college teammate and highschool teammate, Christina McCabe.
Katarina Warburton
Another person I have chosen to possibly write about is Katarina Warburton. She currently just finished her senior campaign for the Adelphi women’s volleyball team. Katarina had seen plenty of action in all four years as a Panther. She was 1 of the 2 captains her senior year. Her best year was her sophomore year where she had set many presonal and school records. She had won libero of the year for the NE-10 as well as joining the all-conference and all-region first teams. Before adelphi she attended Notre Dame Belmont, where she won a state championship for volleyball, and was a two time member of the California Central Coast Championship team. The people I would talk to about her would be her teammate, good friend and co-captain Stephanie Milillo and her roommate Victoria Cast.
Marisa Dennis
The last person who I’ve chosen to write about is Marisa Dennis. She currently just finished her junior campaign for the Adelphi women’s soccer team. The junior had seen a lot of action in her first 3 years playing as a defender. Her best year yet was her sophomore year where she started 14 of the 16 games played and logged 3 shots, 1 being a shot on goal, which is impressive for a defender. Before Adelphi she attended Tolland high school in Tolland connecticut. Where she racked up 2 all-conference selections and one all state selection. The people I would talk to about her are her best friend and teammate Jessica Petry and roommate Emily Perry.
